delivery

When ordering larger furniture pieces, please ensure that items you order can be delivered to your property and room of choice, with safe and reasonable access from the public highway to the place of delivery. Due to the weight of the marble pieces, we use a specialised delivery service within the UK, there is a fixed delivery charge of £85. Our delivery driver will help to carry the pieces into your home, but will need assistance. The pieces can all be carried between two people.

Please note all ‘Made To Order’ items are subject to various lead times ranging between 3 - 8 weeks, estimated shipping times are noted next to each item in the description but are subject to change based on order volumes. You will be notified as soon as your order is ready for delivery. In the unlikely event that your order has not arrived within the timeframe, please email info@no17house.com and we will get back to you with an order update. Due to Covid-19, we may run into slight delivery delays.

For smaller and ‘In Stock’ pieces, shipping in the UK is a flat fee of £12 and is sent via a tracked and signed for courier.

Please email us for custom international shipping queries and quotes.

Please note our workshop is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period, so deliveries may take slightly longer than usual.


returns

Please note, items and orders which are listed as ‘Made to Order’, ‘One Off Antique’ or are sourced and ordered on demand cannot be returned or cancelled. These items are handmade or sourced just for you. Once an order has been placed for our ‘Made to Order’ furniture, the order is final, the stone will be purchased and cut and the order can not be returned or cancelled.

For our ‘In Stock’ items or faulty items, you have 14 days to return it to us for a full refund if you are not happy with it. Please note that the items must be returned in its original condition and in its original packaging. If your order has been damaged during transit then please contact us via the contact page and we will help you get to the bottom of it.


variations & lighting

Due to the intricate craftsmanship involved in the design and production of our ‘Made To Order’ pieces, there may be slight variations.

Please note our brass light fitting is for use in the UK & Europe only, it is not for use in the USA. The light must be installed in accordance with the latest version of British Standard 7671.

To this end, we do ask that the purchaser accepts responsibility for ensuring the compliance and compatibility of the lighting in the country they are to be used in, as we are unable to guarantee compliance and compatibility outside our approved and tested regions of the UK and Europe. Our British supplier ensures that all the lights are tested and fully comply to the British and European Standard (BS EN 60598).

Installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with current electrical regulation. Do not use bulbs exceeding the maximum allowable wattage as shown on the label. No.17 House takes no responsibility for incorrectly installed lighting and recommends that all lighting is installed by a qualified electrician.
